ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo has underscored the importance of fully digitizing government processes to enhance service delivery and improve decision-making.
Speaking during a briefing on the functions and operations of the State Department for ICT and Digital Economy, Kabogo highlighted the need for adopting technology-driven solutions in public service.

“I attended a briefing on the functions and operations of the Directorates and Departments within the State Department for ICT and Digital Economy, part of the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy. During the session, I emphasized the need for fully digitizing all government processes to enhance service delivery and improve decision-making,” Kabogo stated.

The meeting, held under the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, brought together senior officials, including Principal Secretary Eng. John Tanui from the ICT and Digital Economy Department.
Kabogo emphasized collaboration within the Ministry to drive innovation and ensure the success of the government’s digital agenda.

The session also provided an overview of the functions and operations of the various directorates and departments within the State Department for ICT and Digital Economy.
