From Nakuru to Nationwide: Naivas Celebrates 35 Years with Homecoming Caravan

Retail giant Naivas Supermarket has today embarked on a historic caravan to its heritage City Nakuru County where its journey begun in Celebrating 35 years of the iconic retail brand.

The caravan was today morning flagged off by the incoming Chief Executive Officer Andreas von Paleske where it started its journey from Tilisi and is expected to make a stop at Naivasha.

Speaking during the flag-off, Andreas noted that the heritage caravan will enable the supermarket Chain to stand side-by-side with its most valued partners and connect directly with the communities who have been the foundation of its success.

“Nakuru is more than a location. It is our birthplace, the cradle of our story. This homecoming allows us to stand side-by-side with our most valued partners and connect directly with the communities that have been the foundation of our success,” he said.

He added the caravan is an intent of a success story that now supports over 10,000 jobs while empowering local suppliers and farmers across the country.

The heritage Caravan is expected to culminate in Nakuru tomorrow.

“Amongst our accomplishment is having 110 stores all over the country. We are headed to our roots in Nakuru where the story begun. We are celebrating it with all who have achieved it with us including the communities that we serve, our staff and the suppliers and partners even as we head to the Christmas season,” he added.

The caravan flag off coincided with the launch for Naivas Kikwetu where customers will be celebrating hundred days of great offers and wining gifts during the festivity season.

Andreas mentioned that the grand winner of the Naivas Kikwetu will win great cars as a celebration for them shopping at the retailer.

He added that there will be other great gifts to be won across the various stores during the hundred days as they’ll be giving value to shoppers.

“We have great deals in the season including hundred days of great offers in our stores and great winnings every day for customers who shop with us. Customers will win great cars and many, many other things. Above all is we shall continue to offer the great value to our customers as always,” he said.

Starting 35 years ago in the now Nakuru City by the Mokua family, Naivas has grown to be a major retailer brand across the country as they recently clocked the iconic 110 stores mark being the only supermarket with over hundred stores.
