Naivas Customers Win Economic Value Prices in Kikwetu Promotion

Naivas

Kenya’s leading retailer Naivas Supermarket has today continued with the reward of it’s customers in the ongoing Kikwetu festive promotion by offering real economic value.

This is even as the campaign has shifted from the traditional giveaways such as goats and shopping hampers, toward assets that can help winners improve their livelihoods.

According to the retailer’s Chief Executive Officer Andreas Von Paleske the redesigned Kikwetu programme reflects changing shopper preferences and Naivas’ desire to give back in ways that create lasting impact for Kenyan households celebrating the far they have come in the three and half decades.

“Today is more than a handover. It is a celebration of how far we’ve come together,” Andreas stated.

Under the updated campaign structure, customers now stand a chance to win income-generating prizes including vehicles and motorcycles  in addition to other rewards.

He said the shift is intended to align the festive promotion more closely with the everyday needs of customers, particularly in a tough economic environment where assets like motorbikes and cars can enable business activities and expand opportunities.

Speaking at the event also Naivas Head of marketing Florence Saronge highlighted that Kikwetu remains focused on rewarding loyalty and celebrating community with meaningful gifts that go beyond one-off festive treats while traditional festive prizes like goats and capons are still part of the offering for some winners, the emphasis on income assets marks a key transformation in how the promotion delivers value to participants.

“Beyond our legendary goats and capons, we wanted to transform lives in real, lasting ways,” Saronge said.

“A motorbike can power a livelihood. A car can begin a new chapter. Electronics bring homes closer to possibility. Vouchers change what tomorrow looks like. That is the spirit of Kikwetu,” she added.

The Kikwetu promotion runs throughout the festive season, with shoppers automatically entered into weekly and monthly draws as they shop at any Naivas branch.

Winners collect prizes such as motorcycles and cars, which Naivas says are intended to support winners in growing their own economic prospects.

Naivas has also been running discounts and deals under the Kikwetu banner, with shoppers enjoying promotional offers alongside the chance to win prizes.

The supermarket continues to encourage participation across its nationwide network of stores.
