Kenyans living abroad and those returning home for the August season will have an opportunity to explore property investment opportunities at the Optiven Diaspora Homecoming – August Edition.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00pm at GMC Karen, Nairobi, under the theme “One Heritage, One Home, One Future.”
The homecoming will showcase prime land and housing opportunities across Kenya, alongside exclusive offers for attendees. The event will also feature networking, entertainment and plenty of nyama choma as participants reconnect with home.
Optiven CEO George Wachiuri said the event is intended to go beyond a social homecoming by helping Kenyans abroad explore opportunities to invest back home.

“Homecoming is more than returning to Kenya; it is an opportunity to reconnect with our roots and build a future back home. Through this event, we want to make it easier for Kenyans in the diaspora to explore secure land and housing opportunities while enjoying the spirit of being home,” said Wachiuri.
The event comes at a time when many Kenyans in the diaspora return to the country during the August season, providing an opportunity to explore property ownership and investment options.
Interested participants can register through Optiven’s official website.
