Co-operative Bank of Kenya has outlined how Kenyan investors can participate in the Dangote Refinery Global Depositary Receipt (GDR) offer by selecting Kingdom Securities as their preferred broker.
The bank announced that the Dangote Refinery GDR offer is now open to Kenyan investors and provided guidance on the application process.
According to Co-op Bank, investors must first have a Central Depository System (CDS) account to participate in the offer.
Interested investors can apply online through the designated Dangote GDR platform or by dialling *483*250# and selecting Kingdom Securities as their preferred broker.
The bank said the offer will close on October 13, 2026, at 1.00pm East Africa Time, giving investors a limited period to submit their applications.
“The wait is over! The Dangote Refinery GDR Offer is now open to Kenyan investors,” Co-op Bank said in a customer notice.
The announcement provides Kenyan investors with a clear pathway to access the investment opportunity through Kingdom Securities, which has been designated as the preferred broker on the USSD application platform.
Investors applying through the mobile option are required to follow the prompts after dialling 483250# and choose Kingdom Securities before completing the application process.
Those preferring the online route can apply through the official Dangote GDR offer portal after meeting the CDS account requirement.
The opening of the offer gives Kenyan investors an opportunity to participate in a regional investment linked to the Dangote Refinery through the GDR structure.
Co-op Bank encouraged interested investors to complete their applications before the October 13 deadline.
