Optiven Offers Cashback Incentives to Land Buyers in Malindi Under October Campaign

Optiven Limited has rolled out an October promotional campaign offering cashback incentives to customers investing in its Joy Lovers Club project in Malindi, Kilifi County, as the real estate company seeks to attract buyers interested in coastal property.

Under the Omoka Na Optiven campaign, customers receive KSh2,000 in cashback for every KSh200,000 paid towards a deposit or instalment for a plot at the development. The offer applies to both initial deposits and subsequent instalment payments, giving buyers an incentive as they progress towards completing their payments.

Optiven Chief Executive Officer George Wachiuri said the campaign was intended to encourage more people to consider land ownership while making the purchasing process more rewarding for customers.

“We want to make the journey towards property ownership more rewarding for our customers. Through the Omoka Na Optiven campaign, we are giving buyers an opportunity to receive cashback as they make payments towards their investment,” Wachiuri said.

The CEO said the company continued to focus on providing customers with property options that combine location, infrastructure and long-term investment potential. He encouraged prospective buyers to familiarise themselves with the project and its features before making a purchase decision.

“Land ownership is an important financial goal for many families and investors. Our focus is to provide opportunities that customers can evaluate carefully as they plan for their future, whether they are buying for personal use, family needs or investment purposes,” he said.

Joy Lovers Club is located along Mtangani Road in Malindi, approximately 1.6 kilometres from the Indian Ocean. Optiven is marketing the development as a coastal property destination, highlighting its location and infrastructure.

According to the company, the project features a perimeter wall, a grand entrance gate, solar-powered street lighting, cabro-paved internal roads and water access on every plot. These features are intended to support access and convenience for prospective landowners.

The October promotion also includes a complimentary return flight ticket from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi to Malindi for customers undertaking site visits, according to the company’s announcement.

Wachiuri said providing customers with an opportunity to visit a project before committing to a purchase was an important part of the property-buying process.

“We encourage prospective buyers to visit the project, assess its location and understand the available infrastructure before making a decision. An informed customer is better placed to determine whether a property meets their needs and investment plans,” he said.

The campaign comes as property developers use promotional incentives to attract buyers and encourage payments towards land purchases. Cashback arrangements can provide a financial benefit to eligible customers, but buyers should review the offer’s terms and conditions, including eligibility, payment requirements and the campaign period.

Prospective investors are also advised to conduct independent due diligence before paying for land. This includes verifying the title deed and ownership records, confirming survey details and boundaries, checking approved land use and reviewing the sale agreement and payment terms.
