The Co-operative Bank of Kenya is taking part in the ongoing Financial Alliance for Women Summit in Rwanda, reaffirming its commitment to advancing financial inclusion and supporting the Female Economy.
The summit, a premier gathering of global financial institutions and development partners, seeks to accelerate the creation of enabling ecosystems for women entrepreneurs across the world.
Key stakeholders, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), are participating in the event.
“Co-operative Bank of Kenya is proud to be part of the Financial Alliance for Women Summit currently taking place in Rwanda. The summit brings together leading global financial institutions and stakeholders to champion the growing Female Economy, with a key focus on accelerating enabling entrepreneurial ecosystems.” Coop Bank said in a statement.
Representing Co-op Bank at the summit is a strong delegation led by Mr. Moses Gitau, Head of Business Banking. He is joined by Dr. Nancy Kipchillat, Brand Manager, Retail & Business Banking, Miss Dyanah Mburu, Relationship Manager, Women Banking, and Ms. Rachael Murage, Head of Women Banking.
“The summit includes participation from top institutions such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and underscores the critical role financial institutions play in empowering women entrepreneurs and fostering inclusive economic growth,” Bank stated.
