Co-operative Bank of Kenya has issued a fraud alert, cautioning customers to stay vigilant against rising cases of cyber fraud.
The bank made the announcement through their social media pages.
The bank emphasized that it never requests sensitive information via email and urged customers to think twice before clicking on suspicious links.
“Fraudsters are getting creative, but you’re smarter! Co-op Bank doesn’t ask for sensitive info over email. Think before you click and stay protected. When in doubt, report it to us via customerservice@co-opbank.co.ke or WhatsApp 0736690101 #KaaChonjo ,” the bank stated.
To enhance security, the bank is encouraging customers to report any suspicious activity through official channels, including email at customerservice@co-opbank.co.ke or WhatsApp at 0736690101.
