George Githinji emerged overall winner of this year’s Nyali Golf and Country Club Captain tournament held mid week at the club’s course in Mombasa county.
He won the day’s tournament after posting 40 points.
The winner managed to beat 215 golfers with the runners up award going to Hashiguchi Tetsuo after he posted 39 points.
Veteran golfer John Stokes won in the men’s category after posting 36 points.
Meanwhile, the club chairman’s prize known as Kamami Njoroge tournament will be held this weekend.
A total of over 252 golfers are expected to participate during the tournament.
