The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially launched its online results checker on the national portal, preparing for the release of the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.
This announcement serves as a critical guide for the 996,078 candidates who completed their examinations in November 2025.
Students can access their results by entering their index number and full registered name on the KNEC portal.
The 2025 KCSE results are expected to be announced in the second week of January 2026, providing a crucial reference for students awaiting university placements and other academic opportunities.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba recently confirmed that the results are scheduled for release in the second week of January 2026, likely before January 15, to facilitate timely university placements.

Security and Transitions
KNEC has issued a stern warning against fraudsters claiming to have the ability to alter grades. The council reiterated that the marking process, which concluded on December 13, 2025, is secure and final.
The early release is strategically timed to allow the KUCCPS portal to open for university and college applications by February, ensuring a smooth transition into higher education.
