Newsline Media and Training Agency has celebrated the successful completion of its latest attachment program with a farewell ceremony for 30 graduating media and PR students.
The event marked the end of a three-month journey where students were immersed in hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to real industry environments.
Managing Director Faith Muthoni said the program is more than just a mandatory academic requirement, describing it as a stepping stone to professional growth.
She emphasized that through mentorship, practical assignments, and engagement with industry experts, students leave the program ready to take on real-world media challenges.
“Most students seek attachment because it’s required for their course, but here we want them to walk away with skills they didn’t get in class,” Muthoni said, adding that the agency’s focus is on building confidence, sharpening technical abilities, and opening doors to opportunities.
The ceremony also featured remarks from Ben Mbugua, a media lecturer at Multimedia University, who praised the program for nurturing both technical competence and work ethic.
He encouraged the graduates to remain focused and adaptable in a constantly evolving media landscape.
Media practitioner James Mwangi urged the graduates to apply the skills and discipline they acquired, saying that resilience and continuous learning are key to long-term success.
The day ended with certificate presentations, celebratory moments, and reflections from the graduates on how the mentorship at Newsline Media had shaped their professional outlook.
