Mount Kenya University (MKU) will today host 10 universities from Kenya and Germany for a conference on boosting training on entrepreneurship in institutions of high learning in Africa.
It is part of a strategy to prepare graduands to utilise their training to engage in entrepreneurship instead of reliance on employment.
The blended conference has jointly been organised by Collaboration for Entrepreneurial Universities (CEPU) and Developing Entrepreneurial Universities in Kenya (DePUK), and is expected to attract both in-presence participants who will converge at the Mwai Kibaki Convention Centre in the Main Campus, Thika Town as well as virtual participants.
It will bring together participants from MKU, Kenyatta University, Karatina University, Chuka University as participants representing local institutions of higher learning including Hochschule Bonn RheinSieg University of applied Sciences, Leuphana Universitat Luneburg, Leipzig University and Hochschule Wismar from Germany.
