Embakasi East MP Babu Owino expressed his heartfelt condolences, describing the loss as a moment of deep sadness not just for the family but for the nation.
“In times like this, words cannot fully capture the grief of losing a loved one. Our prayers are with the Odinga family as they navigate this difficult period,” Owino said.

He added, “May God give you strength and comfort, and may the soul of our sister Beryl Achieng Odinga find peace in her eternal rest.”
Beryl Odinga’s passing comes at a time when the family has long been a cornerstone of Kenya’s political life, and her death has elicited messages of sympathy from political leaders, colleagues, and citizens across the country.
The loss is being felt widely, highlighting both the personal grief of the Odinga family and the respect and admiration they have earned through decades of public service.
