Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has welcomed Gaturi Ward MCA Gathee Wa Njeri to the People’s Party as the political outfit continues to expand its grassroots presence ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Nyoro announced that Wa Njeri had joined the party and would seek re-election on the People’s Party ticket.
“Karibu sana to the People’s Party Hon Gathee Wa Njeri, MCA – Gaturi Ward,” Nyoro said.
Wa Njeri was elected as an independent candidate in the last General Election and is now set to defend his seat through the People’s Party.
“Today we received Mheshimiwa to the party. He was elected as an independent Candidate last elections and will be seeking reelection through the People’s Party ticket,” Nyoro said.
Nyoro welcomed the MCA to the party as he continues to build its structures and attract leaders ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Karibu sana Hon,” he added.
The latest move comes as Nyoro and other People’s Party leaders position the party as a new political vehicle ahead of the 2027 General Election, with the outfit seeking to strengthen its support at the grassroots.
