The Nakuru Nyahururu highway is one of the busiest roads in the country where heavy trucks and trailers go through before reaching their destinations.
This is also the hotspot for grisly road accidents that have claimed the lives of several road users as well as left many nursing bad injuries.
According to reliable Sikika Road Safety news podcast, there has been a bad accident involving a police truck and a trailer along the Nakuru Nyahururu highway near Laikipia University that has got an officer trapped in it.
The reports state that the police truck was trying to overtake at a very high speed, but unfortunately rammed into the trailer as the officer on the wheel tried to return to his lane.
Kenyans are at the scene trying to rescue some of the trapped officers from the wreck. Fortunately, there is no fatalities from the accident, but some of the officers have been badly injured.
