PS Salome Muhia Calls for Public Support as Government Deepens Citizen Engagement

The Principal Secretary for Correctional Services, Dr. Salome Muhia Beacco, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening public participation in service delivery, urging Kenyans to support ongoing development programs across the country.

Speaking at Kahuguini Primary School Grounds in Gatundu South, Kiambu County, during a Jamii Imara Mashinani public engagement forum, Dr. Muhia said the initiative provides an opportunity for citizens to interact directly with senior government officials and share feedback on ongoing reforms.

“The government is doing everything possible to promote quality services to the people,” Dr. Muhia said. “My ministry will continue working closely with the public to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in service delivery. We are a government that listens and acts on the needs of the people.”

Dr. Muhia emphasized that citizen involvement is key to achieving lasting transformation, adding that partnerships between government institutions and the public will help bridge service delivery gaps and promote inclusivity.
