Purity Kendi’s Redemption: Real Estate Firm Awards Her Juja Plot and Brand Deal

Purity Kendi, a name that dominated social media headlines in October following the circulation of private videos, has experienced a remarkable turnaround, moving from public condemnation to becoming a real estate ambassador and landowner.

Comfort Homes, a prominent Kenyan real estate firm, announced today that they have gifted Kendi a prime plot of land in Juja Farm and appointed her as an official brand ambassador.

The unexpected and generous announcement was made by Comfort Homes CEO, Hezekiah Kariuki. Mr. Kariuki stated that the company chose to acknowledge Kendi, despite the widespread public scrutiny she faced.

“It is important to acknowledge her, as she was in the limelight and widely condemned by netizens,” said CEO Hezekiah Kariuki. “However, we looked beyond the incident. Purity was awarded this role and the gift due to her outgoing personality and because, in a strange way, her story united Kenyans for a brief moment in conversation.”

New Home and Community Support

In addition to the ambassadorship, Comfort Homes is building Kendi a three-bedroom house on the gifted plot.

Mr. Kariuki promised the house would be completed with impressive speed.

“The foundation is set, and we guarantee the entire three-bedroom structure will be completed and ready for roofing in just one week,” he announced.

The CEO also made a public appeal to Meru politician Michael Makarina. Hezekiah Kariuki called on the politician to fulfill his earlier pledge to support Kendi by providing the necessary iron sheets for the roofing of the new home.

The prime residential plot Kendi received is located in Mukuyuine, Juja Farm. It is situated in a well-developed area with several surrounding neighbors and is close to essential amenities, including the Juja Athi Comprehensive School, making it an ideal location for a residential property.

Purity Kendi, overcome with emotion, expressed her profound gratitude upon receiving the gifts. “I am absolutely jubilant and overwhelmed by this kindness,” she said. “I want to thank the CEO and Comfort Homes from the bottom of my heart for this incredible gift and for believing in me. This is a new chapter.”

The move by Comfort Homes has drawn significant attention, redefining how businesses are engaging with individuals who have faced public crises, and emphasizing second chances.
