Safaricom has cautioned customers against using the website ziiditrader.com, warning that it is neither an official platform nor affiliated with the telecommunications company.
The firm urged users not to share sensitive personal information, including phone numbers, M-PESA PINs, bank account details, or other confidential credentials on the website.
According to Safaricom, the only official way to access the Ziidi Trader platform is through the My OneApp. The company emphasized that it will never ask customers to disclose their private login details or security credentials.
Safaricom further advised customers to verify the authenticity of suspicious websites, messages, or links before taking any action to avoid falling victim to online scams.
The company also encouraged users to report suspected fraud by sending an SMS to 333 or through the My OneApp.
