Nairobi, July 25, 2025 — In a bold step towards redefining insurance service delivery in Kenya, AAR Insurance has launched its first-ever smart, paperless branch — ‘AAR on the Go’ — in Nairobi’s bustling Central Business District.
Located at ABSA Towers, the futuristic branch is designed to offer seamless, digital-first experiences to customers and agents, eliminating traditional paperwork and wait times. This innovation marks a significant leap in AAR’s digital transformation strategy, targeting today’s mobile-first, fast-paced consumer environment.
Speaking during the launch, AAR Insurance CEO Justine Kosgei stated, “‘AAR on the Go’ is more than a smart branch. It’s our promise to deliver convenience, speed, and better outcomes to our customers, especially SMEs and urban clients who demand efficiency and accessibility.”
The smart branch allows digital onboarding via QR codes, real-time access to services, and instant customer support — all while promoting sustainability by cutting out paper use.
Chairperson Esther Koimett hailed the innovation as a milestone in inclusive service: “It’s not just about tech, it’s about access. We’re bringing insurance where people need it most — at their fingertips, in real-time.”
The launch follows AAR’s strong performance at the 2025 Think Business Insurance Awards, where it was recognized in five top categories, including Most Customer-Centric Underwriter.
With ‘AAR on the Go’, AAR Insurance isn’t just keeping up with the times — it’s setting the pace for the future of insurance in Kenya.
