Bamburi Cement PLC Chief Executive Officer, Geoffrey Ndugwa, paid a high-level courtesy visit to the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) Head Office for an introductory meet-and-greet with KEBS Managing Director, Esther Ngari, EBS.
The executive introduction centered on familiarization and strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two organizations within Kenya’s built environment. Both leaders expressed their mutual commitment to safeguarding consumer trust, optimizing product integrity, and supporting sustainable building practices as the sector evolves.
A key focus of the meet-and-greet involved reflecting on shared goals to ensure high-quality construction materials and combat the challenges of substandard products in the regional retail market.

Speaking during the visit, Bamburi Cement PLC CEO Geoffrey Ndugwa underscored the manufacturer’s rigid adherence to rigorous product benchmarks:
