Becoming Her Launches in Nairobi to Redefine Modern Womanhood Beyond Achievement

A new experiential platform, Becoming Her, has been launched to create intentional spaces for women to reconnect with themselves, redefine success, and explore modern womanhood beyond performance and achievement.

Founded by transformation coach Kabeyu Katuga and creative entrepreneur Maria NkumbaBecoming Her is not positioned as a traditional “women empowerment” initiative. Instead, it offers a more nuanced approach—inviting women to move from high-functioning survival into alignment, softness, self-awareness, and personal power.

The platform will host curated experiences, intimate conversations, and immersive events designed to explore themes such as identity, femininity, emotional well-being, relationships, money, and purpose.

“Many women today are succeeding externally but feel disconnected internally. Becoming Her is about coming back home to yourself—without losing your ambition, your softness, or your truth,” said Kabeyu Katuga.

“We’re creating a space where women don’t have to choose between success and self. They get to have both,” added Maria Nkumba.

The launch event took place at The Social House, Nairobi, will and brought together a curated group of women across corporate, entrepreneurial, and creative spaces for an afternoon of connection, storytelling, and shared experiences.

Becoming Her builds on the foundation of ReinventHer, a transformation-focused coaching platform founded by Katuga, which has supported a growing community of women in rebuilding their identities, confidence, and life direction over the past year.

Together, the two platforms represent a broader movement—one that challenges the idea that success must come at the cost of self.

Following the launch, Becoming Her will host quarterly experiences and expand into digital content, community-building, and collaborations with aligned brands.
