Co-operative Bank of Kenya has supported youth development and aviation training through its sponsorship of the Aero Club of East Africa NAVEX 2026 Air Rally, held at Orly Airpark in Isinya.
The bank participated as a Platinum Sponsor of the event in partnership with Flight Training Centre (FTC), using the platform to highlight the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), aviation education and youth empowerment.
Through the sponsorship, Co-op Bank said it aims to support initiatives that inspire young people to explore careers in aviation, develop technical skills and pursue opportunities in innovation.
The bank noted that investing in STEM education and aviation development is part of preparing the next generation of pilots, innovators and problem-solvers to contribute to Kenya’s future.

Beyond financial support, Co-op Bank participated in event branding, photography and the provision of branded merchandise for young aviation enthusiasts, increasing its visibility and engagement during the air rally.
The NAVEX 2026 Air Rally brought together aviation enthusiasts and young people interested in the sector, providing a platform to celebrate aviation while highlighting opportunities for skills development and professional growth.
Co-op Bank said its involvement reflects a broader commitment to helping young people become future-ready by supporting initiatives that encourage ambition, technical learning and innovation.
The partnership with Flight Training Centre also highlighted the role of collaboration between financial institutions and aviation training organisations in expanding opportunities for young people interested in the industry.
Through initiatives supporting STEM, aviation and youth development, the bank seeks to contribute to an environment where young Kenyans can access opportunities to build skills, pursue their ambitions and participate in emerging sectors of the economy.
