Co-operative Bank of Kenya has released the first batch of 40 vehicles financed for the National Police Service as part of a wider programme aimed at strengthening security operations in the country.
In a statement shared on its social media platforms, the bank said the vehicles are part of a broader KSh1.5 billion financing commitment that will facilitate the delivery of a total of 303 police vehicles.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with RentCo Africa, CFAO Mobility and the National Treasury of Kenya.

According to the bank, the project is intended to support national security by improving the mobility and operational efficiency of the police service.
The lender said the milestone reflects its commitment to financing development-oriented projects that have long-term economic and social impact in line with Kenya’s development agenda.
