Farmers party signs official coalition agreement with kenya kwanza

The Farmers Party National Chairman and Murang’a Governor candidate 2022 Hon Irungu Nyakera has officially signed a coalition agreement with the Kenya Kwanza Coalition.

The party joins the United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA), Amani National Congress (ANC), and Forum for Restoration of Democracy- Kenya (FORD-Kenya) as a principal.

Further, the Farmers’ Party will be the lead principal in charge of agriculture and food security, a critical pillar in the Big 4 Agenda and Vision 2030.

As the only political party in Kenya that has a focus on a pillar of the Big 4 Agenda – Agriculture and Food Security- we assure farmers that they will have a seat at the table of decisions through a Kenya Kwanza Coalition Government.

Farmers party joins Kenya Kwanza Coalition on a platform of shared common ideals on the primacy of economic empowerment of citizens, entrenching the culture of democracy through free, fair, transparent, and verifiable elections and forming inclusive, responsive, and accountable Government.

The parties will field candidates in their respective parties, devoid of any forced or joint candidates as seen in other struggling coalitions.

Farmers Party joins Kenya Kwanza Coalition as a distinct political party and the party will participate in the affairs of the Coalition as an equal to other parties within the Coalition.

The Farmers Party is fully behind the candidature of H.E Dr. William Samoei Ruto and believes that jointly, the Kenya Kwanza Coalition will reform the economy of Kenya to ensure inclusivity, eradication of extreme poverty, a sustainable public debt, empowerment of citizens through deliberate and measurable Bottom-Up economic policies to create employment, promote equity and improvement of livelihoods.
