Newline Media and Training Agency has continued to grow since APRIL 25Th,2021 when it was first started as a news digital website.
Since then, its transitioned to offer attachment opportunities to students undertaking Media, IT and Public Relations.
Speaking during an exclusive interview at the organization’s offices in Thika, the managing director Faith Mukundi said the agency was mainly started to bridge the gap between theory and practical.
“We realized many students come from these institutions with theoretical knowledge but lack actual skills needed in the fields of their specialization, our goal is to equip them with the necessary skills that will make them ready for the job market”, she said.

She added that students are empowered with skills such as videography, photography, video and audio editing, graphic design, Radio and TV broadcasting, Photoshop, crisis communication and management, corporate training among others.
She said the organization hopes to continue expanding its training opportunities and partnerships with different institutions to empower more young people interested in media and public relations careers.
“When we had our first slot of students for attachment on January,2025, we mostly had students from institutions around Thika like Mount Kenya University and Greatsa university, but currently, we are receiving student from institutions across Kenya,” she said.
She revealed that despite offering attachment opportunities for media students the agency is actively involved in providing public relation consultancy to various organizations.
