Imwatok Calls on Police to Crack Down Arsons Who Torched Businesses

Makongeni Member of County Assembly  Peter Imwatok has condemned the arson attack on stalls erected along Jogoo road.

The MCA cited malice in the raging fire that razed down the businesses in his ward asking the relevant authorities to take action.

According to Imwatok he was informed in the morning that there were Azimio demos in his ward at 4.am thereafter a gang stormed stalls and burnt them down.

“We have stated categorically that our protests are peaceful anyone  taking advantage to disadvantage our supporters should be dealt with decisively ..it’s unacceptable ,” said Imwatok.

“I have already talked to Makadara OCPD and they have promised to swing into action.” He added.
