Kajiado leaders petition NCIC to summon former Kajiado central MP over reckless political utterances

A section of leaders from Kajiado County led Businessman and veteran politician George Kingori have urged National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to prosecute former Kajiado central Mp  David Ole Sankori.

Other leaders who have condemned the utterances includes Jacob Gitau who is a party leader of Peoples party of Kenya (PPK) and Hon Solomon Kinyanjui.

They accused former MP of inciting Maasai communities against the locals.

The leaders have condemned MP reckless divisive political utterances which is targeting the immigrant populous urban Kajiado residents.

Mr Sankori said that the immigrants are only entitled to buy land,do business and inter marry with the locals but have no rights of seeking political seats.

Mr Sankori has made the infamous utterances in political meeting held recently in Ongata Rongai where the former Premier was present advancing his agenda of Azimio la Umoja initiative in the aim capturing presidency in the coming general elections.

Kajiado East Mp aspirant Hon George kingori said that the constitution of the land is clear that every Kenyan citizen has a right to settle anywhere in the republic and equally has a right of seeking any elective position under the supreme land’s laws.

King’ori entry into the political mix, pundits say, is likely to change the direction of politics in Kajiado East that has for many years been dominated by indigenous politicians.

He said that Sankori move is an insult to the immigrants and his utterances can be a threat to stability and cohesion of all the communities who have been co existing in peace since time immemorial and hence his speech can be a recipe which can rapture skirmishes and divisions.

He continued ‘we love our mzee Sankori and we want to wish him well in his retirement but equally we want him to desist from cheap unpopular utterances which are old fashioned and outdated ”

Hon KINGORI is in a fore front of capturing Kajiado East parliamentary seat if all constant factors of popularity and touching people lives in all aspects is to go by.
