Kenya Courts Norwegian Investors at High-Level Oslo Forum

Kenya and Norway have strengthened their economic partnership following the Kenya–Norway Business Forum held in Oslo, bringing together nearly 150 business leaders, investors and policymakers to explore new investment opportunities.

The forum, organized by the Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) in partnership with Kenya Investment Authority (InvestKenya), attracted about 90 Norwegian companies interested in expanding their footprint in Kenya.

Key sectors highlighted during the discussions included renewable energy, agribusiness, the blue economy and digital innovation, reflecting Kenya’s growing appeal as one of Africa’s fastest-growing investment destinations.

The event was graced by William Ruto and attended by Åsmund Grøver Aukrust, Musalia Mudavadi and Lee Kinyanjui.

InvestKenya said the forum marked a new chapter in the Kenya–Norway partnership, leveraging Norway’s vast investment capacity and expertise to unlock opportunities that support economic growth, innovation and sustainable development in Kenya.
