Kioni and Karua confirms Limuru 3 will happen as planned

Jubilee Party Secretary General Hon .Jeremiah Kioni and his counter part from Nark- Kenya Martha Karua have confirmed that the Limuru 3 Conference lined up for this Friday 17 April 2024 will go on as planned.

Kioni and Karua who got the endorsement of the Kikuyu Council of Elders, said the conference would be open to all attendees.

According to Conference organizers drawn from 31 political parties the meeting is set to give directions on how the region will move forward in matters associated with politics, social and economic development.

Kikuyu Council of Elders led by it’s Chairperson Wachira wa Kiago said the region is meeting in Limuru 3 to address key issues including unity of the region and to heal wounds that was left in people’s heart after 2022 general elections
“Our community has a right to determine and to say how they want to be governed. And in Limuru 3, we are going to say exactly, how we want to be governed,” said Wachira Kiago

Karua added: “We have talked about leadership generally; we did not give any exception. Whether we expect there will be any people or any disruptors, we have just given a caution generally, and that is it.”

The mountain is facing some problems which should be addressed according to Wachira wa Kiago
“We are worried about the future of our children, we must come out and attend Limuru 3 which we are sure will solve our problems as a community. The future of our children is on our hands” he added

The Mt Kenya region has been facing some challenges during electioneering period and after election which is draw by political divide.
