Nairobi City County Revenue Authority nominee Andrew Chegee has promised to diversify on upward trend the Cityhall revenue with Ksh 60-70 billion target per financial year.
Speaking during vetting by the Assembly budget and appropriation Committee the former KRA statistics director says his performance pure based on proper strategy and collective responsibility.
“We have something on the books and some on streets we shall work with reality ..we shall be on good debt management,increase and spread collection of revenue.We shall also strengthen our revenue streams.” He told the vetting panel.
The committee is now expected to table a report on Tuesday for the name of the nominee.
“We are proceeding to report writing having satisfactorily vetted the nominee for the position of chairperson of the Nairobi County Revenue Authority head,” stated chairperson for budget and appropriation committee Wilfred Odalo.
