NCBA-sponsored professional golfer Njoroge Kibugu has advanced to Round Three of the prestigious Magical Kenya Open currently underway at Karen Country Club.
Kibugu, who is Kenya’s top-ranked golfer and among the top 100 players in Africa, is the only Kenyan professional to make the cut in this year’s tournament — a significant milestone in a highly competitive field featuring top international talent.

His progression to the third round marks a proud moment for local golf, as home fans rally behind the standout pro flying the Kenyan flag at one of the region’s most celebrated tournaments.
NCBA Bank, which sponsors the golfer, hailed his achievement, noting that his advancement reflects both discipline and consistent performance at the highest level.
With the competition intensifying, Kibugu will now be looking to build momentum as he heads into the weekend rounds, carrying the hopes of the home crowd at Karen.
