Students of Eor Ekule Mixed Secondary School in Narok East sub-county on Sunday night went on rampage and razed down their dormitory.
Narok County Police boss John Kizito said trouble started when the school management denied male and female students to have a joint fellowship during a dedication service to celebrate a new music system bought recently for the Christian Union.
Kizito said the boys started throwing stones anyhow forcing the school principal Margaret Nguku to summon the police.
Kizito said when police arrived in the school, they found one of the dormitories had been burnt to ashes.
Nevertheless, learning at the girls’ section was going on smoothly as the boy’s side was closed to give room for investigations.
No one was injured during the incident
