The Co-operative Bank of Kenya has announced its support for the Elimu Bora Run 2026, reaffirming its commitment to promoting quality education and community development.
In a statement shared on its social media platforms, the bank said it had partnered with St. Paul’s University to support the annual fundraising event, which seeks to enhance access to education and create opportunities for students.
According to the bank, proceeds from the run will be directed towards the university’s Endowment Fund, which supports scholarships, research, and innovation initiatives.
“Co-op Bank has supported an initiative that promotes access to quality education and community development at the St. Paul’s University through the sponsorship of Elimu Bora Run 2026. The run raises funds for the St Paul’s University endowment fund supporting scholarships, research and innovation while strengthening partnerships, promoting community engagement and enhancing brand visibility.,” the bank stated.
The lender noted that the initiative not only raises funds for deserving students but also strengthens partnerships between institutions, promotes community engagement, and creates awareness around the importance of investing in education.
The sponsorship forms part of Co-op Bank’s broader corporate social investment agenda, which focuses on empowering communities through education, enterprise development, and social impact programs.
