Co-operative Bank of Kenya has congratulated Mhasibu Sacco following the successful launch of a new suite of digital banking solutions powered by the bank.
The bank made announcement on their social media accounts noting that the move is aimed to deliver faster, smarter and borderless financial services for Sacco members.
“Mhasibu Sacco has officially launched a suite of digital banking solutions powered by Co-operative Bank — unlocking faster, smarter, and borderless services for their members.
The launch was led by the Mhasibu Sacco CEO and Board of Directors together with Co-operative Bank’s Director, Cooperatives Banking Division,”Bank said in a statement.
The launch was attended by Mhasibu Sacco’s Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors alongside the Director of Co-operative Bank’s Cooperatives Banking Division.
The digital platform enables instant diaspora remittances, automated deposit processing, Visa card services, PesaLink transfers and remote cheque scanning to support secure and faster multi-location transactions.
The bank encouraged other cooperative societies to adopt similar solutions to scale their operations, noting that the partnership is part of its strategy to position itself as a leading digital infrastructure provider for the Sacco sector through end-to-end banking channels.
