Co-operative Bank has expanded its presence in the western region with the opening of its 4th branch in Eldoret City, located along the Eldoret Airport Road.
The new branch was officially inaugurated by His Excellency Hon. Jonathan Chelilim Bii, Governor of Uasin Gishu County, in a ceremony attended by key leaders, including Hon. Jackson Mandago, Senator for Uasin Gishu County, and Hon. Philip Muigei, Speaker of the County Assembly of Uasin Gishu.
The event also saw the presence of Mr. Julius Sitienei, a Member of the Board of Directors at Co-op Bank, who hosted the guests during the official opening.
“Co-op Bank today opened its 4th Branch in Eldoret City along the Eldoret Airport road. His Excellency Hon. Jonathan Chelilim Bii, Governor County Government of Uasin Gishu officially opened the branch, accompanied by Hon. Jackson Mandago, Senator Uasin Gishu County and Hon Philip Muigei, Speaker, the County Assembly of Uasin Gishu. The guests were hosted by the Board of Directors Member, Mr. Julius Sitienei,”Bank said in a statement.
The new branch is part of the bank’s broader strategy to increase its reach and accessibility across Kenya, especially in rapidly developing regions.
This opening follows a series of recent branch expansions by Co-op Bank, including new branches in Ruiru, Kenol, and Thika, further strengthening its presence in key towns and cities as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance customer service and banking convenience.
The Eldoret branch is expected to provide both personal and business banking services to the growing population of Eldoret and the surrounding areas, contributing to the local economy and offering residents and businesses a wider range of financial solutions.
