As Kenyans step into the new year and manage everyday expenses, school costs and unexpected financial needs, Faulu Bank has strengthened access to fast, paperless credit through its Faulu Mobile Loan, which enables customers to borrow up to KES 100,000 instantly using their mobile phones.

The mobile loan is designed for traders, salaried and non-salaried customers who need quick, convenient financing without visiting a branch or filling out paperwork. Customers can apply directly via *339# or through the Faulu DigiCash App, with funds disbursed instantly once approved.

The loan is processed digitally, allowing customers to apply, receive funds and manage repayments seamlessly. This service is part of Faulu Bank’s continued shift toward mobile-first banking, giving customers greater control over their finances when they need it most.

“Digital lending is about fitting into how customers live and manage their money. We are putting access to credit on the phone, thereby helping our customers to plan, respond to needs as they arise, and stay financially active without disrupting their daily routines,” said Julius Ouma, the Chief Executive Officer at Faulu Bank.

In addition to the Faulu Mobile Loan, the bank offers other short-term digital facilities such as Salary Advance, Asset Finance, Working Capital, Landlord Loans and Emergency Check-off loans for customers with employer arrangements. These products complement the mobile loan by addressing different customer needs and income profiles.

Faulu Bank says its expanding digital loan portfolio reflects a broader strategy to deepen financial inclusion, improve access to affordable credit and support households and small businesses through technology-driven solutions.
