Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville believes that Paul Pogba has aspirations to leave Old Trafford and play his football elsewhere.

The France international, who claimed a very impressive four assists during United’s opening day Premier League 5-1 victory over Leeds United at Old Trafford on Saturday, is out of contract next summer and speculation concerning his future has been rife in recent weeks.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, but United remain keen to tie him down to a new deal.https://get-latest.convrse.media/?

Nevertheless, Neville, who believes United need to see an “outstanding” season from Pogba this term, has suggested that a part of Pogba has already decided that he wants to seal a move to PSG or Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid.

“It’s an absolute given that if Paul Pogba is at Manchester United that he will need to fit into this Manchester United side and he can play anywhere across the front line against the bigger teams, or he can play deeper to unlock sides from deep,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“Manchester United needs one outstanding season from Paul Pogba, because if he leaves next summer they need one more outstanding season from him.
