Kenya and the United States are continuing their strong partnership in advancing peace and security across the Great Lakes region, according to a press statement released by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
During a meeting with Mr. Brian Mast, the Chairman of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, at Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., Mudavadi commended the U.S. government for its unwavering support in promoting peace and regional security.
“I commend the U.S. government for its steadfast support in promoting peace and regional security,” said Mudavadi.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary was accompanied by Kenya’s Ambassador to the United States, Mr. David Kerich, who was also part of the important discussions.
Mudavadi further encouraged the leadership of the House Foreign Affairs Committee to deepen economic ties between the two nations.
“I encourage the committee’s leadership to further champion deeper economic ties by inviting U.S. business investors to explore the many business opportunities that exist within the Kenyan market,” he added.
