Kenya’s fuel supply remains stable, with the government assuring the public that the country has adequate petroleum stocks to meet national demand for more than one month.
According to the Principal Secretary for Petroleum, Harsama Kello, the country’s current fuel reserves are sufficient, with additional cargoes already en route to reinforce supply levels.
Speaking during a familiarization tour of key petroleum facilities in the Coast Region, Kello said the government is closely monitoring fuel distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted supply across the country.

The assurance comes amid periodic public concern over fuel availability and pricing stability. The State Department for Petroleum, State Department for Petroleum, maintains that logistics and import scheduling remain on track, with no immediate risk of shortages.
Officials say ongoing coordination with suppliers and storage operators is aimed at sustaining steady nationwide distribution, particularly in high-demand urban and transport corridors.
Kenya continues to rely on imported refined petroleum products, making stock management and shipping schedules critical to market stability.
