LG Showcases Innovation During Carrefour Brand Festival Consumer Campaign

LG Electronics engaged consumers through a two-week campaign held during the Carrefour Brand Festival.

The festival, which culminated in a live draw event at Two Rivers Mall, brought together 45 leading consumer brands to offer promotional pricing and customer rewards. LG used the campaign to showcase its wide range of home appliances and electronics while connecting directly with consumers in a dynamic retail environment.

To participate in the promotion, customers were required to purchase select LG products worth at least KES 14,000 at selected Carrefour stores. Qualifying purchases gave shoppers the opportunity to enter a draw for a chance to win LG appliances, including microwaves, refrigerators, washing machines, and smart televisions. The draw offered customers a chance to turn routine purchases into an opportunity to upgrade their homes with premium technology.

While the prize draw provided a celebratory highlight, the campaign primarily reflected LG’s retail strategy of strengthening engagement with consumers through trusted shopping platforms. The initiative also aligned with broader efforts to support the growth of Kenya’s modern retail sector and expand access to innovative home solutions.

Speaking during the award ceremony, Irene Mwangi, the Regional Manager of LG East Africa’s Go-to-Market team, said the campaign demonstrated the value of collaborative retail initiatives in enhancing consumer experiences.
