Nyamira governor Amos Nyaribo yesterday reshuffled members of his county executive committee in a bid to improve improving efficiency and service delivery.
Making the announcement yesterday, Nyaribo warned officers who were not executing their mandate that they risk being sacked and replaced by those who are ready to deliver.
Delivering services, He said that he was in office to serve the people of Nyamira in getting services and therefore he could tolerate officers who were sabotaging his agenda.
“I am asking the residents of Nyamira County to rise up and demand services from the county government officers.
Report those who are not performing so that action can be taken against them” he stated.
In the new changes the county executive committee member in charge of lands Samwel Maiko was moved to the department of Environment, which has not been having a substantive CEC for the last seven months.
