He said that in this era, it’s the dream of every parent to have children to school for them to get empowered.

He further called on other leaders to follow his suit and enrolling needy students in school noting that doing this, will help to bridge the education gap and help in the realization of a better future.

“Sharing is caring, let us strive to do good and God will always remember us in all our endeavors,” MCA said.

Linet Muthoni parents thanked the MCA for the good deeds.

Muthoni who has promised to study hard to accomplish her dreams is now admitted at Kiangunyi High School.

“I won’t let Mheshimiwa down, I will ‘eat’ books and I can promise I will one day assist a needy student the way I have been assisted,” said the belated student.

She apologized for threatening to take her life and thanked the security agencies and Mheshimiwa for helping her out instead of arresting her.

Last year, Ichagaki MCA Charles Mwangi wrote to the county assembly clerk, instructing him to facilitate the donation of his salary to the board.
