President William Ruto on Tuesday evening joined other Heads of Delegation and their spouses for a cultural night held at La Source Vive during the G7+ Summit at the Évian Resort in France.
The event brought together four international artists and a children’s choir in a carefully curated performance that blended music, culture, and storytelling before an audience of global leaders attending the high-level summit.
Set within an elegant theatre atmosphere, the performance was designed to highlight the role of culture in strengthening international understanding and cooperation beyond formal diplomatic negotiations.
Speaking through the tone of the event, leaders were reminded of shared global values, with the performances emphasizing unity, humanity, and the importance of cultural exchange in addressing global challenges.
The cultural evening formed part of the broader G7+ Summit programme, which brings together Heads of State, government representatives, and international partners to discuss economic cooperation, development priorities, and global stability.
For Ruto, the engagement adds to a series of diplomatic appearances on the sidelines of international forums, where cultural diplomacy continues to play an increasing role in shaping informal interactions among world leaders.
The summit continues in Évian with further high-level discussions expected to focus on global economic recovery, climate action, and international security cooperation.
