President William Ruto has issued a strong warning over what he described as attempts to undermine the management of Nairobi Hospital, declaring that his administration will not allow the institution to be “taken hostage by charlatans, conmen and fraudsters.”
Speaking amid ongoing wrangles surrounding the leadership and operations of the premier private hospital, President Ruto emphasized the need to safeguard key national institutions from individuals seeking to exploit them for personal gain.

“There is no way I am going to allow Nairobi Hospital to be taken hostage by charlatans, conmen and fraudsters,” the Head of State said, signaling a firm stance on the matter.
His remarks come at a time when the hospital has been facing internal disputes, raising concerns among stakeholders and the public over governance and service delivery at one of Kenya’s most critical healthcare facilities.
Ruto underscored the importance of accountability, transparency, and proper management in institutions that provide essential services to Kenyans. He noted that the government will not stand by as individuals attempt to destabilize such establishments.
The President further assured that relevant authorities will take necessary action to restore order and ensure that the hospital continues to operate efficiently and in the best interests of patients.
The developments have drawn significant public attention, with many Kenyans closely following the unfolding situation at Nairobi Hospital, a facility long regarded as a cornerstone of private healthcare in the country.
