Former prime minister Raila Odinga has already landed at Wajir airport in North Eastern region ready for his Azimio La Umoja rallies in Wajir county. The former prime minister and his entourage is scheduled for series of rallies in the county.
The former prime minister was warmly received by senior North Eastern leaders upon his arrival. Hundreds of Azimio La Umoja supporters from the county were also on the ground to warmly Raila and his team.
North Eastern leaders who welcomed Mr. Odinga at Wajir airport includes; former Wajir governor Ahmed Abdullah, Wajir gubernatorial candidate Mohammed Elmi, Wajir women representative Fatuma Gedi, Eldas legislator Adan Keynan and Garissa governor Ali Bunow Korane.
Other leaders allied to Azimio La Umoja movement accompanying Raila Odinga includes COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli, Homabay women representative Gladys Wanga, Nyeri deputy governor Carolina Karugu, gender CAS Rachel Shebesh, CAS Beatrice Elachi among other elected leaders.
