Comedian Jalango yesterday raised more than 20 million during a fundraiser for his Langata parliamentary bid.
This was revealed by blogger Robert Alai who also attended.
The event was graced by top brands and powerful individuals in the Country.
Mombasa governor Hassan Joho and his brother contributed two million while NOPEU party secretary general contributed one million.
“Had a wonderful time at jalango campaign fundraiser and was great, more than 20 million was raised,”Alai posted on his fb page.
Many guest donated over Sh 100,000, which will really help Jalango achieve his dreams of becoming a Member of Parliament.
Other guests who graced the fundraiser include Betty Kyalo, Robert Alai, MC Jessy, Bahati Kenya, Captain Otos among other great influencers in the country.
Also the Jalango fans did there best through the Paybill and a total of Sh 1.3 Million was raised through the Paybill.
