Detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) in Kilimani have arrested a suspected serial burglar and recovered a cache of stolen electronics linked to recent break-ins in Kileleshwa.

The suspect, identified as Daniel Mosomi Saisi, was apprehended following investigations into burglaries reported by two residents of Serengeti Court in Kileleshwa. According to investigators, the suspect allegedly broke into the victims’ homes during the night and stole valuables worth approximately Sh900,000.
Following the reports, detectives launched an intensive manhunt that led them to Millennium Apartments along Thiongo Road in Kangemi, where the suspect was arrested.
During the operation, officers recovered several items believed to have been stolen from the complainants. These included a base-proof light headset, a gaming console charging system, an iPad 11, a JBL portable speaker, an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and PlayStation accessories. The recovered items were later positively identified by the owners.
Police said the suspect is currently in custody undergoing processing and is expected to be arraigned in court.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has urged members of the public to continue sharing information on criminal activities through its anonymous reporting channels.
