Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has expressed his gratitude and readiness to serve following his vetting for the Cabinet Secretary position in the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy (MICDE).
Kabogo, who appeared before the National Assembly for the vetting process, shared his vision for the ministry, emphasizing innovation and digital empowerment.

In a statement after the session, he said, “Honored to have appeared for vetting as CS for the MICDE at the National Assembly. Grateful for the opportunity to share my vision for a connected, innovative, and digitally empowered future. Ready to serve!”
During the vetting, Kabogo outlined his plans to strengthen Kenya’s ICT infrastructure, promote innovation, and drive digital inclusion across the country.

His vision includes leveraging technology to create jobs, enhance public service delivery, and position Kenya as a global leader in the digital economy.
