Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has launched a scathing attack on Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi, accusing him of political blackmail and calling for his resignation.
In a fiery social media post, Sudi dismissed Muturi’s recent concerns over the increasing cases of abductions as a ploy to remain politically relevant.
“This desperate move, made now that your political career has waned, is a clear blackmail attempt,” Sudi wrote. “The timing is highly suspicious, revealing a coward man clutching at straws for political expedience.”
Sudi further criticized Muturi on a personal level, referencing the legal troubles of the CS’s son.

“In regards to your son’s woes, who is my agemate, kwani alishikwa bure? [Was he arrested without cause?]” Sudi questioned, implying that the charges were justified.
The outspoken legislator went on to suggest that Muturi’s position could be taken up by other capable individuals from Embu County.
“There are many professionals from Embu County who can serve the country with zeal. You can ship out,” Sudi added.
Muturi, a former Speaker of the National Assembly, has recently raised concerns about the government’s handling of security issues, particularly the rise in abductions. His statements have sparked debate, with Sudi’s sharp rebuttal highlighting growing tensions within government ranks.
