Murang’a Women Representative Sabina Chege and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika last year during television interview demonstrated how Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid has divided the mount Kenya region.
The two belongs two different political outfits. Jubilee and UDA.
Since then sources close to the two leaders has revealed that the two don’t see each other eye to eye,with Kihika accusing Sabina of working in cohort with Raila Odinga to kill Ruto’s presidential popularity in Murang’a County.
Sabina who is quick to anger almost hit Nakuru senator Susan Kihika who is a staunch supporter of William Ruto unlike Sabina who has now channelled her support to Uhuru and Raila Odinga.
The show host Francis Gachuri was forced to call off he show as the debate became violent with Sabina insisting that Susan must apologise or table evidence to her allegation.
Section of political pundits believe that Ruto’s candidature will cause more harm within the Mount Kenya region than expected.
Susan had castigated that Sabina has been fueling Ruto’s woes in mount Kenya to even calling for the impeachment of the DP.
“Sabina Chege i know you have been fighting deputy president,recently you led a group of MPs to impeach William Ruto and i saw your name and signature,”Susan said.
The sentiment were not welcomed lightly by Sabina as she demanded Susan to prove her claims move that forced Gachuri to call off the show abruptly.
Deputy president William Ruto has been facing resistant within the mount Kenya region with some leaders accusing him of disrespecting president Uhuru Kenyatta.
DP Ruto has been at loggerhead with President Uhuru Kenyatta for initiating early succession campaigns that have affected service delivery.
